Arellano University delivered a commanding double victory over Jose Rizal University in the NCAA Season 101 Volleyball Tournament on February 18, 2026, at the San Andres Sports Complex, as both the Chiefs and Lady Chiefs overpowered their respective counterparts.

The Chiefs set the tone with a dominant straight-sets win against the Heavy Bombers, 25–19, 25–22, 25–13. From the opening serve, Arellano dictated the tempo through aggressive attacks and disciplined defense. Their organized blocking and sharp transition plays limited JRU’s scoring opportunities and prevented them from gaining momentum.

Although the Heavy Bombers attempted to rally late in the second set, the Chiefs remained composed to secure a crucial 2–0 advantage. By the third frame, Arellano had fully taken control, applying relentless service pressure and executing quick offensive combinations that widened the gap en route to a convincing finish. AC Guinto led the way with 14 points built on 13 attacks, along with four digs to anchor the defensive stand.

Building on that momentum, the Lady Chiefs followed with a strong four-set victory over the Lady Bombers, 25–21, 21–25, 25–16, 25–21, to secure their third win of the season.

Arellano showed early composure behind the Domasig–Mangubat connection, but JRU responded aggressively in the second set to even the match. Refusing to lose control, the Lady Chiefs regained their rhythm in the third frame as Cris Servidad sparked the offense with a scoring run. Reigning Best Setter Catherine Domasig also showcased her versatility, contributing attacks and orchestrating quick plays that kept JRU’s defense unsettled.

In the fourth set, Arellano pulled away in the closing stretch, capitalizing on crucial points to seal the match. Domasig finished with a rare 12-point performance for a setter—10 attacks, one block, and one ace.
