Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) joined the NCAA Philippines as a guest team in 2011 and was granted full membership in 2015. Known as the Pirates, LPU made waves in basketball by reaching back-to-back NCAA Finals in 2017 and 2018, led by star players like CJ Perez.
