Colegio de San Juan de Letran (CSJL) is one of the founding members of the NCAA Philippines in 1924. Alongside Ateneo, La Salle, San Beda, UST, and Instituto de Rizal, Letran helped establish the league to promote athletics and camaraderie among schools. Since then, Letran has been a cornerstone of the NCAA, best known for its strong basketball program and intense rivalry with San Beda, often called the “Battle of Intramuros.”
