DE LA SALLE-COLLEGE OF SAINT BENILDE
The College of Saint Benilde (CSB) joined the NCAA Philippines in 1998 as a probationary member and was granted full membership in 2000. The league was looking to expand and CSB, a part of the De La Salle University System, was invited to join to strengthen NCAA’s roster after several schools had left in earlier years. CSB quickly made its mark by winning the seniors’ basketball championship in 2000—its first season as a full member—becoming the youngest NCAA school to capture a basketball crown.
The Blazers are ready to reignite the fire this season after holding their Pep Rally on Monday afternoon at the Benilde Sports and Dormitory Complex. The program started with a send-off mass followed by the festivities including the introduction of athletes and team performances.
